The Change Direction is a collection of concerned citizens, nonprofit leaders, and leaders from the private sector who have come together to create a new story in America about mental health, mental illness, and wellness. The Change Direction initiative is sparking a movement by bringing together this unprecedented and diverse group of leaders to: free us to see our mental health as having equal value to our physical health; create a common language that allows us to recognize the signs of emotional suffering in ourselves and others; and, encourage us to care for our mental well-being and the mental well-being of others. As a founding member of the campaign to Change Direction, umttr supports the mission of the initiative and works to reduce the stigma of mental illness with the message #ChangeMentalHealth.
